Tether’s QVAC SDK brings local, offline AI to mainstream devices

Tether has launched the QVAC SDK, an open-source software development kit designed to enable developers to create AI applications that run locally on a broad range of devices—such as smartphones, laptops, desktops, and servers—without the need for cloud-based infrastructure. Built to support LLaMA-based AI models, QVAC SDK empowers developers to deploy AI apps natively on platforms including iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux. This approach prioritizes privacy by minimizing data transmission to external servers and reduces reliance on costly cloud resources.

Tether, previously known primarily for its stablecoin operations, is expanding into the AI space by introducing decentralized, edge-focused AI tooling through QVAC.
