AI Impact Summit 2026: Delhi Traffic Police issues advisory, check routes to avoid

As the AI Impact Summit 2026 is scheduled to take place from February 16 to 20 at Pragati Maidan’s Bharat Mandapam in Central Delhi, the Delhi Traffic Police have issued an important advisory addressing anticipated traffic disruptions. The advisory highlights that several major routes will face restrictions and increased congestion due to VIP movements associated with the high-profile event. With ministers, technology CEOs, and delegations attending from over 60 countries, the police have developed a comprehensive traffic and route management plan.

Commuters are advised to avoid certain corridors and follow recommended alternative routes to minimize delays. For example, the Ring Road corridor stretching from Ashram Chowk to Dhaula Kuan and important transit points such as ISBT Kashmiri Gate and Punjabi Bagh will remain open without restrictions to ensure smoother movement. The advisory also addresses travel flow to and from key points like the Indira Gandhi International Airport terminals and railway stations, with specific recommended routes from different parts of Delhi provided to help commuters and visitors navigate during the summit.

Additionally, the traffic police are coordinating to prevent inconvenience for students appearing for Class 10 board exams on February 17, by appointing special nodal officers to oversee smooth travel to exam centers.
