At CES 2026, Amazon entered the lifestyle TV market with the launch of the Ember Artline, a new line of art TVs designed to rival Samsung’s popular Frame series. The Ember Artline is a 4K edge-lit LED television featuring a matte display that reduces ambient light glare and is notably slim at just 1.5 inches thick. It supports interchangeable magnetic bezels, allowing users to customize its appearance to blend seamlessly into home decor, similar to Samsung’s approach.

This new TV integrates closely with Amazon’s ecosystem, including Amazon Photos for displaying personal photo slideshows and access to over 2,000 pieces of free artwork preloaded for users. The Ember Artline will be available in 55- and 65-inch sizes starting at $899, with availability expected this spring.

Alongside the hardware, Amazon introduced a redesigned Fire TV OS aimed at providing a cleaner, faster, and more organized user experience. This updated interface is designed to reduce the time users spend searching for content, emphasizing ease of discovery and viewing. The Ember Artline also features Alexa+ integration, leveraging AI to enhance user interaction and personalization.

Amazon’s entry into this segment highlights the growing trend toward televisions serving as both entertainment devices and lifestyle décor. With its combination of smart TV technology, AI-driven features, and aesthetic customization, the Ember Artline positions Amazon as a competitive player in the lifestyle TV market, directly challenging established options from Samsung and others.
