This strategic move is aimed at bolstering ServiceNow’s capabilities to address the rising threats driven by AI and expanded attack surfaces across IT, operational technology (OT), and medical device environments. Armis specializes in cyber asset intelligence, providing comprehensive visibility and security for connected devices, a critical need as organizations face increasing AI-powered cyber risks.
The acquisition will integrate Armis’ unique data set and asset exposure management technology directly into ServiceNow’s AI Platform and AI Control Tower. This integration seeks to offer a unified, AI-native platform for security that provides actionable insights and streamlined resolution workflows. By linking Armis’ device visibility with ServiceNow’s business context configuration management database (CMDB), companies will gain a holistic, real-time understanding of exposures mapped to their operational services and teams.
ServiceNow’s CEO Bill McDermott emphasized this deal as a major accelerator for growth amid an evolving security landscape shaped by artificial intelligence. CFO Gina Mastantuono indicated that the acquisition is expected to triple the market opportunity in ServiceNow’s security and risk business, with no immediate plans for further security M&A. The transaction is anticipated to close in the second half of 2026.
