TCL has introduced the Note A1 NXTPAPER, an AI-powered e-note device designed to enhance productivity for professionals, students, and creators. The Note A1 features TCL’s proprietary NXTPAPER Pure display technology, which offers a paper-like reading and writing experience with flicker-free, eye-friendly visuals certified for low blue light emissions. This 11.5-inch display operates at a high 120Hz refresh rate, significantly reducing lag and eliminating ghosting, a common issue in e-ink devices. The device aims to combine the natural feel of paper with modern digital convenience.
The Note A1 comes with the T-Pen Pro stylus that supports 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity and dual-tip functionality, delivering precise and natural handwriting with an ultra-low latency of under 5 milliseconds. Its AI-enhanced features, powered by Microsoft Copilot, include real-time transcription, translation, and automatic meeting summaries, which streamline note-taking and organization workflows. The device’s Inspiration Space software allows users to keep ideas connected and organized, and its split-screen mode facilitates multitasking by letting users read and take notes side by side.
With a slim aluminum unibody design, weighing 500 grams, and a robust 8,000mAh battery, the device targets extended use with portability in mind. Offering 256GB of storage and optional accessories like a flip case and keyboard case, the Note A1 NXTPAPER is positioned as a versatile digital workstation alternative. TCL plans to launch it via Kickstarter in February 2026, with a retail price of $549, presenting a compelling option among digital note-taking tablets competing with devices such as the Kindle Scribe.
